Today, 4 Winds is one of 25 or so producers in the compact Stags Leap District, bounded to the north by the Yountville Crossroads; the Napa River to the west, and the Palisades to the east. The farm-to-table mentality is no fad here. From beans to prunes to Cabernet Sauvignon vines, we’ve always been growers. Situated about six miles north of downtown Napa and directly east of the landmark culinary scene in Yountville, the Stags Leap District is a quieter destination for seekers of great food and wine. The valley’s striking natural beauty is making it an enclave, too, for hikers, wildlife watchers, and cyclists.
